Sindhu became the first Indian female badminton player to win a medal in Badminton singles event in the Olympics. In the final match, she played with Carolina Marin – World No.1 player in women’s singles Badminton event.

PV Sindhu won a thrilling first game against Carolina Marin 21-19 as she came one step closer to the gold medal. But after Losing Game 1, Marin Striks Back Vs Sindhu. At the end of second game, Carolina Marin levels with big win against PV Sindhu in 21-12. Marin has been ruthless with her different tactics.

Carolina Marin Keeps Pressure on PV Sindhu on Third set from the beginning itself which made the whole indian fans to sit at the edge of their seats looking for points favoring Sindhu. But Indian Shuttler continues her Fight to get points closer to Marin. Finally, Carolina Marin won the gold medal with her victory on third set with 21-15.
